MIDGAM – “Israel National Biobank for Research” constitutes a national infrastructure in purpose to promote personalized medicine for the health and welfare of Israeli residents, creates added value and growth engine for advanced bio-industry, research institutions and health organizations in Israel and international collaborations.

The objectives of MIDGAM are to collect, process and store biological samples and annotated data and transfer them to legally approved studies for the purpose of studying risk factors for developing diseases, identifying populations at risk, early detection of diseases and development of new treatments.
