Withdrawal of Consent

You have the right to choose not to participate in MIDGAM, or to discontinue your participation at any time. If you decide, for any reason, to withdraw your donation and cancel your consent, a written request can be sent to the Biobank manager at the medical center where you have signed.
The outcome of your withdrawal will be the removal of all your medical and personal information from the biobank, the transfer of the tissue samples from the biobank to the pathology institute at the medical center, for storage as customary, and the destruction of your other samples in the biobank. 
However, it will not be possible to locate your samples, which have already been submitted for research prior to your notice.
